Today it was announced that the HKgov will halt their policy of imposing flight bans on airlines transporting a certain amount of passenger who turn out to be carriers of the virus. This is a very welcome move for the many travelers returning from Europe and other places to Hong Kong. This measure will have immediate effect from today.
In an additional announcement, the HKgov shared that an extra PCR test will be added to the mandatory array of tests faced by inbound travelers. This additional test will be administered on the 3rd day of the travelers’ quarantine stay in their designated quarantine hotel.
