HK Set To Launch Cross-border Health Code System on Dec 10

At 9 am on Dec 10, Hong Kong will launch its cross-border health code system. This will mark the first major step toward quarantine-free cross border travel with the mainland and Macao.

While introducing the health code system, Sit – Secretary for Innovation and Technology – stated that travellers must provide their real names and residential addresses during the registration process, as well as their travel history for the past 21 days.

You will be able to apply for a health code via the following link: www.healthcode.gov.hk. Hopefully such quarantine-free travel arrangements will be set up with other countries soon!
