Yesterday (27th January) the Honk Kong SAR Chief Executive announced some good and bad news during a press conference regarding the health measures in place. In this article, you can read the summary. The link to the full press release is added at the bottom.
- Health measures related to social distancing will be extended for two weeks until the 17th of next month, and large-scale and crowd gatherings will continue to be suspended. In addition, in-person classes will be suspended till 21st February;
- From 5 February onwards, arriving passengers will be mandated to quarantine in a hotel for 14 days instead of 21 days;
- A “vaccine pass” will be implemented from the 24th of February. More details will be announced later by the Government.
