On December 30th 2020, the EU and China reached the long-awaited EU-China Comprehensive Agreement on Investment (CAI) with the aim to open up more investment opportunities between the two economies.

On Thursday 4 February from 3pm – 4pm HKT, The European Chamber of Commerce organizes a webinar: All You Need to Know about the EU-China Comprehensive Agreement on Investment, delivered online via Zoom.

Ms. Eva Valle Lagares, Head of Trade at the Delegation of the EU to China, will help us better understand the background and contents of the CAI. Ms. Jinyue Dong, Senior China Economist at BBVA, will guide us through its implications and potential caveats. The webinar will be led and moderated by Mr. Iñaki Amate, Director of EuroCham representing FinnCham and Partner at EY.

“The basics of the Agreement and the overview of its consequences” will be the central point of discussion.
