On 21 June 2021, President of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta arrived in Belgium and was received by King Philippe.
During the Kenyan President’s two-day visit, he is scheduled to address a Belgium-Kenya business forum, where he will discuss investment and trade. He will also discuss EU-Kenya relations with the President of the European Council.
The Kenyan ambassador to Belgium stated that President Kenyatta intends to address trade barriers such as double taxation and discuss Kenya’s plan to diversify its exports with the goal of growing trade between the two nations.
