The rise of AI technologies, smart energy grids, 5G networks, and smart transportation networks have been changing daily life in the public realm for the better. Most recently, governments have been deploying smart city technologies in the fight against the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic while preparing for what we call the “new normal” in a post-COVID era.
On Tuesday 27 October from 6pm – 7.30pm HKT, HKUST organizes a free webinar on the strategic opportunities smart cities have brought for both Hong Kong, Asia’s financial hub, and Trikala, Greece’s first smart city. As a newly-founded Chamber, the Greek Chamber of Commerce will co-host the webinar as their inaugural event.
“How do Hong Kong and Trikala respond to challenges and emerging opportunities that lie ahead post-COVID?” will be the central point of discussion.
